The Group of 77 and China has renewed the façade of the webpage showing tools and design that are more attractive.

The Chairperson of the G77 & China, H.E. Elias Eljuri Abraham – Rome Chapter 2017 – has greatly taken into consideration to increase dialogue by listening members and has been working with a team and CIO Division of FAO on having a newly redesigned webpage for the Group that could offer to members a quick and easy access and much more. Since the technologies have captured more and more human attention, there is a need to seize the time and give to the Group and online visibility. In this regard, the Chairperson reiterated the importance for the members to receive more digital information just by exploring the online activities.
The team with pool of experts analyzed important functionalities for the G77 and China Webpage, which can serve members as well as an online social network, like checking activities of Regional Groups or individual events, share statement with opportunity for a member to submit comments in a proper tool, sharing the information, saving time and effort for everyone.
Many sections were redesigned and are visible just visiting the new homepage, and mostly when people want to go deeper exploring the SharePoint, a Microsoft tool, useful for the Group to share files or folders and exchange instant updates via mobile devices too.
The Presidency and the Secretariat would give to members, with this new webpage, the opportunity of interacting more directly with a simplified and real-time collaboration and make a difference in the G77 and China communication letting also people from abroad or other organizations to keep connected with us.
