The international forum will be held under the title "Sustainable Management of Rangelands in Arid and Semi-Arid Regions" to introduce the importance of rangelands, their current status, the challenges they face and ways to overcome them. In addition to providing scientific lectures on methods of rehabilitation, governance and sustainable management of rangelands, and learning about experiences and success stories at the local, regional and international levels. The role of the National Center for Vegetation Cover Development and Combating Desertification will also be highlighted in developing appropriate mechanisms and means to implement the national strategy for rangelands to reduce their deterioration, preserve, rehabilitate and manage them in a sustainable manner by organizing grazing in them, raising environmental awareness and activating pastoral guidance. National and international experts and specialists from international and regional organizations will participate in the forum, as well as stakeholders from governmental and university bodies, environmental associations and associations, specialized companies and livestock breeders. The first international forum aims to highlight the importance of rangelands and ways to develop and manage them in a sustainable manner.
