The Global Forest Observations Initiative (GFOI) partners coordinate their activities across four interlinked components:
delivering direct assistance to developing countries
supporting developing countries to use cost-effective data and tools
delivering and disseminating user friendly guidance materials
identifying new technologies and overcoming barriers to progress
These four components and the priority work areas of the initiative and are driven by the contributions of GFOI partners.
