The Fifth R&D Expert Workshop took place on 7-10 June 2016 in Mexico City, Mexico. It was organised by GOFC-GOLD in
collaboration with CONABIO, SilvaCarbon and focused on regional solutions to forest type stratification and characterising the forest
state for national forest monitoring and carbon emissions reporting (REDD+ MRV and LULUCF).
