The Global Soil Partnership and its Intergovernmental Technical Panel on Soils are under the spotlight this week at the Committee on Food Security and the Plenary Assembly of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change.

Today, the 25^th session of the Committee on Agriculture (COAG25) endorsed the Voluntary Guidelines for Sustainable Soil Management (VGSSM).

FAO member countries and all GSP partners are invited to support and contribute to the development of the Global Soil Organic Carbon map (GSOC map) that will be released by the end of 2017.
