Charlotte Rampling

Charlotte Rampling is one of the most important actors working in cinema today, performing for directors as diverse as Luchino Visconti, John Boorman, Liliana Cavani, Nagisa Oshima, Sidney Lumet, Lars von Trier, François Ozon and most recently Denis Villeneuve (on the Dune films) and Jim Jarmusch (Father Mother Sister Brother).
In television, she is known for her role as Evelyn Vogel in Dexter. She received Emmy and SAG nominations for Restless, and a Golden Globe nomination for London Spy. For her performance in Andrew Haigh's 45 Years, she won the Berlin Film Festival Award and the European Film Award for Best Actress, and was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actress.
She has received an Honorary César, France’s Légion d’honneur, an OBE for services to the arts, and the European Film Awards’ Lifetime Achievement Award. For FAO she narrated the 2025 World Food Day video.
