Dilara Koçak is a trained dietitian and nutritionist dedicated to promoting sustainability and reducing hunger and food waste. She graduated from Hacettepe University's Department of Nutrition and Dietetics in 1990 and completed her master's degree at the same university. A pioneer in individual nutrition counseling, diet therapy, and corporate wellness programs in Turkey, she has made significant contributions to the field. Dilara is also a celebrated author, having published several books, including İyi Yaşam Günlüğü (Good Life Journal, 2005), Dilara Koçak ile İyi Yaşam (Good Living with Dilara Koçak, 2007), Afiyetle Diyet (Diet with Pleasure, 2009), and Afiyetle Diyet Tarifleri (Diet with Pleasure Recipes, 2015). She has written for major Turkish media outlets, including Hello!, Women's Health and Vogue Turkey, and has produced and hosted television programmes on healthy living and nutrition for CNN Türk, Kanal D, TRT, and Kanal Türk. Dilara is also highly active on digital platforms, sharing her expertise in dietetics and health across various social media channels.

For nearly six years, Dilara has been working pro bono with the FAO's Turkey office on campaigns such as Save Food: Global Initiative on Food Loss and Waste Reduction, further reinforcing her commitment to sustainability and food security.
