Sixteenth meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD-COP16)
The programme successfully supported ACP countries and regions in aligning their biodiversity strategies and action plans with the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework (GBF) to restore, protect and use biodiversity in agrifood systems sustainably. At COP16, beneficiaries from the ACP MEAs 3 programme shared success stories on integrating agrifood systems into national and regional biodiversity related processes and strategies.
The programme supports ACP countries and their focal points through the following key activities:
- Pushed preparation activities and events with focal countries for COP16;
- Participated on COP16, with panel members in different round tables and the organization of a ACP MEAs 3 side event.
