FAO and CONXEMAR International Congress: Rethinking the Seafood Value Chain

On 2 October, the 11th International Congress Conxemar FAO will be held in Vigo, an event that has become one of the key meetings for seafood processing and sales companies from all over the world.

This congress is the result of the union of Conxemar – the Spanish Association of Wholesalers, Importers, Exporters and Manufacturers of fish products and Aquaculture and one of the leading associations in the European agrifood sector – and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO). Their objective? To bring together the big names in the sector to analyse the current challenges facing the seafood processing and commercialisation industry and its commitment to sustainability in all its dimensions and from all points of view.
 

The seafood value chain is transforming and we need to rethink the way we approach our strategies in an increasingly complex and volatile environment.
