On 12 September, FAO Fisheries and Aquaculture Technical Officers were pleased to welcome American University of Rome students who were attending the M.A Program in Food Studies. 

Officers presented a comprehensive informative session on the importance of fish to trade, food security and nutrition. The session also aimed to introduce interesting topics to the students such as the impact of climate change on fisheries and link them to resources like GLOBEFISH and other FAO publications on fisheries.
