Enhancing corporate governance for FAO publications

29/11/2021

As a knowledge leader, FAO is committed to publishing information that enables Members to drive transformation to more efficient, inclusive, resilient and sustainable agrifood systems resulting in better production, better nutrition, a better environment, and a better life, leaving no one behind.

The Director-General announced in the DG Bulletin on 18 November the creation of a new Publications Board to this end. The purpose of the board is to provide strategy, planning and coordination that strengthens how FAO's knowledge products reach their intended audiences, with a focus on high-quality digital materials, measurement of impact and cost-effective production. The Board is composed of regional and thematic representatives in order to take into account the Organization's wealth of knowledge and experience and to ensure delivery of a consistent, clear, and aligned messages.

We will keep you updated as we enhance how and what we publish and more effectively share knowledge to achieve the 2030 Agenda.
