An event on the 50x2030 Initiative "Data-Smart Agriculture", which aims to empower and support 50 low and lower-middle income countries by 2030 to build strong national and sustainable data systems that produce and use high-quality and timely agricultural data through survey programs. The Initiative is a unique collaboration of three leading agencies in the field, the World Bank, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, and the International Fund for Agricultural Development.
The implementation of the 50x2030 Initiative is organized into three Implementation Components:
(1) Data Production; (2) Methods and Tools Development; and (3) Data Use.
