WHO and FAO are jointly planning a training workshop on the utilisation of the Atlas of Human African Trypanosomiasis (HAT), to be held from 11 to 14 June 2018 in Addis Ababa at FAO premises. The planned participants are ten (10) from five (5) endemic countries (i.e. Malawi, South Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia). The objective is to empower the people in charge of the data management of Country National Programmes to use the Atlas as a tool to support the epidemiological surveillance of HAT and the planning of HAT control activities in their respective countries.
