A training course will be organized by FAO and the Tsetse and Trypanosomosis Control Unit (TTCU), Veterinary Services Directorate (VSD), Ministry of Food & Agriculture, Ghana. Three TTCU staff will be participating as trainees. The workshop will focus on: (1) quality verification of the national Atlas of tsetse and African animal trypanosomosis, (2) planning an upcoming epidemiological survey in the Upper East Region, and (3) drafting of a country self-assessment for the Progressive Control Pathway for African animal trypanosomosis.
