Main activities:
Capacity development and resilience building are the main areas of collaboration of the partnership established since 2014 between FAO and Texas A&M University System.
During the years, activities have been designed to contribute to the One Health Initiative approach by promoting healthy and sustainable animal production.
The implementation of early warning systems for livestock feed assessments, the development of capacities to tackle transboundary animal diseases and the establishment of internships and volunteer programmes are just some examples of the joint efforts undertaken by the two organizations.
