Fire Hub Working Groups
The Fire Hub Working Groups were launched at the Fire Hub Plenary in 2025 to strengthen collaboration on integrated fire management (IFM) across three key areas: international interoperability, fire data, and community-based fire management (CBFiM). The Working Groups bring together IFM professionals from around the world to address shared challenges and develop practical solutions. Supported by a core coordination team and a wider network of contributors, the groups collaborate through surveys, technical exchanges and the development of knowledge products.
The below products and materials have been developed by the Working Groups, including webinar and meeting presentations, guidance documents, and other outputs produced through the Groups' collaborative work. The materials have been developed collectively by working group members and represent the outcomes of a collaborative process involving diverse perspectives and expertise. Unless explicitly stated otherwise, these resources should not be considered official FAO products, nor do they necessarily reflect the views or endorsements of FAO or any individual organization or participant involved in the Working Groups.
These products are intended as practical, evolving resources rather than final documents. They will continue to be refined as new knowledge and experience emerge, and feedback and suggestions for future iterations are welcome.
