Workshop on Environmental Statistics for the Agricultural Sector

The FAO Regional Office for Latin America and the Caribbean and the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) are pleased to invite you to participate in the Workshop on Environmental Statistics for the Agricultural Sector.
ECLAC will present the Framework for the Development of Environmental Statistics (FDES), the System of Environmental and Economic Accounting (SEEA), as well as the Methodological Guide for Developing Environmental and Sustainable Development Indicators in Latin American and Caribbean Countries.
For its part, FAO will present its methodologies, tools and strategies for the measurement of specific indicators related to the use and management of fertilizers and pesticides, land use and the monitoring of greenhouse gases (GHG) from agriculture and agri-food systems.
