WISDOM is a spatially-explicit method oriented towards supporting strategic wood energy planning and policy formulation, through the integration and analysis of existing wood fuel demand and supply related information and indicators. The Serbia WISDOM analysis was based on 161 municipalities with 25 administrative regions and cartographic references. The application of the standard WISDOM analysis produces supply and demand balance mapping at the local level and involves five main steps with a modular and open structure.
