The call for position and policy papers for the Second International Conference on Agrarian Reform and Rural Development (ICARRD+20) is now open. The Second International Conference on Agrarian Reform and Rural Development (ICARRD +20), organized by the Government of Colombia marks twenty years since the 2006 FAO International Conference on Agrarian Reform and Rural Development in Porto Alegre, Brazil. This gathering will bring together governments, international organizations, Indigenous Peoples, peasants, Afrodescendant communities, rural women, and youth to reignite the global agenda on agrarian reform and sustainable rural development.
This is a unique opportunity for countries, institutions, and individuals to shape global debates and directly contribute to the ICARRD+20 Declaration. Your ideas, evidence, and perspectives can help define the next decade of action on land rights, inclusive rural transformation, and responsible governance.
