Water scarcity is a growing concern in all regions especially in West Africa as a result of uneven distribution of rainfall attributable to climate change.

To achieve the mandate of its establishment, WASAG is working towards the creation of a regional hub in West Africa. It is expected that this regional hub will lead to new and strengthened collaborations between partners and stakeholders  to address the complex issue of water scarcity in West Africa.
