Sea Containers Stocktake to Shape CPM-21 Recommendations

As the CPM Focus Group on Sea Containers nears final recommendations for CPM-21 (2027), this side session reviews progress to date. Highlights include October 2025 Copenhagen symposium outcomes and advances in regulatory/non-regulatory frameworks (e.g. container design, custodial responsibility, and CTU Code revision). Interactive polling and Q&A will gather IPPC parties' and stakeholders' input on CPM Recommendation R-06 uptake and implementation. Inputs will shape Focus Group's 2027 recommendations on long-term pest risk management associated with sea-container pathway.
