UNHCR Launched the “We Believe in Youth” report in Geneva, in late September. The report the culmination of a year-long consultation process with young refugees globally.  Almost 1300 refugee and host country youth, with 34 nationalities were consulted in 22 countries as part of the  “Global Refugee Youth Consultations” process, during the latter part of 2015 and 2016.  The main outcome of these consultations were policy recommendations, in the form of “Core Action for Refugee Youth” developed by a representative group of young refugees who participated in the consultation in Latin America, North America, Asia Pacific, Africa, MENA and Europe and who came together in Geneva in June to consolidate and synthesize the findings from each of their national contexts.
