About the partnership

The Congo Basin Forest Partnership was launched by Colin Powell at the 2002 World Summit on Sustainable Development in Johannesburg as a voluntary multi-stakeholder initiative. The Partnership brings together some 85 partners, including African countries, donor agencies and governments, international organizations, NGOs, scientific institutions and the private sector. Read more...
