33 He decides to borrow money from the traditional credit institutions, but discovers that these institutions no longer exist.
34 He does not give up, and goes to a private bank. There, he is refused credit because of the lack of collateral. He realizes that for a small farmer like himself there are no possibilities of obtaining credit and he cannot apply the new techniques that he has learned to improve his production.
35 Back in the field, the farmer receives a visit from the Fertisuelos technician, who invites him to a meeting with the rest of the community for a talk on credit.
