Ninth Executive Committee Meeting for the Asia-Pacific Forestry Commission
Objective The Asia-Pacific Forestry Commission (APFC) is one of six regional forestry commissions of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations. It was established in 1950 as a statutory body of the FAO Conference. The overall objective of APFC is to support the efforts of member countries in the region to develop and implement legislation, policies, plans and programmes to implement sustainable forest management.
