Objectives

To update present status and initiatives as well as to share knowledge and exchange views on indigenous peoples’ issues; To promote multi-stakeholder dialogue and networking at all levels (local- national- regional and international) in promoting of the rights of indigenous peoples in Asia;  To identify challenges, gaps and areas required improvements; and To identify areas of FAO/Indigenous Peoples collaboration in the region.
