The eleventh session of the Intergovernmental Technical Working Group (ITWG) on Animal Genetic Resources took place from 19 to 21 May 2021, for the first time in its history as a virtual meeting. Several documents related to DAD-IS have been presented there and the ITWG made also recommendations on DAD-IS development to be considered by the Commission on Genetic Resources for Food and Agriculture.
