The United Nations is taking now forward the strategic discussion on blockchain positioning, development, and implementation to show its relevance; and in the context of the World Food Forum (WFF), its impact in improving our agri-food systems for a better food future for all!
The United Nations Rome-based agencies (RBAs), the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) and the World Food Programme (WFP) are playing their part in the game by sharing their body of knowledge on the topics of blockchain for fintech, food, agriculture, emergency intervention, and sustainability. Join them at the WFF flagship event on 4th October 2021: a Masterclass to learn more about the innovative journey of blockchain and its challenges; but above all its great potential to solve the problems that we are facing today in the agri-food systems!
This one-hour interactive masterclass will offer you a quick dive into blockchain as applied to food systems and as used by the RBAs - with direct, privileged dialogue with our experts to discuss the role of their organization in blockchain and its application for agri-food systems. You will gain increased awareness about how the RBAs are well prepared to guide global policymaking in relation to the implementation of the SDGs and how blockchain can be a part of that for food systems improvement. Hopefully the dialogue and ideas triggered by the discussions with our experts will inspire you for next joint actions and collective thinking!
