The first edition of eJADE focuses on agriculture's contribution to poverty reduction, rural development and economic growth. Papers presented indicate an underestimation of returns to investment in agriculture, including production contributions.

They stress the need for a more informative dialogue on the future of agriculture and of the rural sector and their linkages to other sectors of the economy in developing countries.

Papers should be submitted electronically to the Managing Editor at e-JADE@fao.org. Articles accepted by the managing editor will be sent for blind review. It is assumed that all papers submitted contain original work and have not been submitted elsewhere. The editor does not accept responsibility for loss of submitted papers.
