Priorities for training development are guided by ongoing consultation with partners in order understand needs for resource development. Activities are also guided by a Training Quality Management System (TQMS) that considers both the quality and the impact of the training.

Activities under this component also support GF-TADs partners and regional institutional bodies in the development of Virtual Learning Centers (VLCs). These new hubs are managed regionally in order to promote cascade of training to national level.

A Training Management System (TOM) is currently being developed that allows government veterinary services and individuals to map training conducted to competency frameworks.
