Pre-COP26 is the final official meeting ahead of COP26, the UN Climate Conference which will be hosted in Glasgow from 31st October - 12th November 2021 under the presidency of the UK, in partnership with Italy.

Two COP26 preparatory events on climate change will take place from 28 September to 2 October 2021 virtually and in Milan, Italy:

  • The international ‘Youth4Climate: Driving Ambition’  (28-30 September 2021)
  • The preparatory conference Pre-COP 26  (30 September – 2 October 2021)

FAO is contributing to these preparatory meetings through several virtual events to provide countries with an informal setting in their preparations for COP26 to discuss and exchange views on key political aspects of the negotiations in relation to agri-food systems and climate change.
