Practical Action works with vulnerable farming communities which are resource-constrained in economically, naturally and socially marginalized areas. It introduces interventions in appropriate technologies in renewable energy, farming equipment, build small farmers capacities in climate smart agriculture, financial literacy, market and supply chain linkages, value chain enhancements, by using participatory approaches. The organization fosters collaborative work between relevant stakeholders within communities. Its main thrust aims at enhancing agroecological approaches in all the work in order to achieve environmentally and economically sustainable agricultural practices beyond project life cycles.
