FAO headquarters, Rome – The Annual Resource Partner Consultation of the Flexible Voluntary Contribution (FVC) took place as a hybrid event at FAO, Rome. About twenty-two delegates from Australia, Belgium, Flanders, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Sweden, Switzerland, and Norway participated in the Consultation.

The Consultation provided opportunity for updates on the annual progress report for 2022, and further guidance, advice, and feedback from the FVC Resource Partners on operational and strategic issues, such as efficient resource allocation and need to showcase impact of funded initiatives. The Consultation also reflected on the recent post-Covid Field Trip to Uganda during 1-5 May 2023, with participation of ten officials of the FVC Resource Partners. The Resource Partners look forward to another Field Visit-- proposed for early next year.

The FVC has received cumulative total of over USD 200 million since its start in 2010 and has funded eighty-five projects. Of this, 53 FVC funded projects are implementing work in ninety-two countries across the four betters and five regions of the Organization. Additionally, FVC has received USD 50 million as contribution for the new phase (2022-25).
