Joint WHO/FAO/WFP/UNICEF/OHCHR Event - Key Findings of the 2015 Global Nutrition Report

WHO, FAO, OCHA, WFP, UNICEF and OHCHR organized a two-hour event on the second Global Nutrition Report (edition 2015), to present the key findings of the report and discuss opportunities within the 2030 Development Agenda, the 2016 World Humanitarian Summit, the Second International Conference on Nutrition (ICN2) follow up, the 2016 Nutrition for Growth Summit for ensuring measurable progress to reduce all forms of malnutrition.

This second Global Nutrition Report, produced by an Independent Expert Group, is a collective effort of more than 70 authors. It is a comprehensive report on all forms of malnutrition in all countries. This edition has a stronger focus on climate change, food systems, and the roles and accountability of business. The report tells us how much progress the world is making on reducing malnutrition in all its forms, what governments and their partners can do to accelerate progress and intends to serve as an accountability tool and generate  increased action on nutrition.
