Adapting irrigation to climate change (AICCA)

Final Project Workshop

FAO is organizing the final workshop of the AICCA project “Adapting small-scale irrigation to climate change in West and Central Africa” in its Headquarter, Rome, Italy, from 16 to 17 April 2019, in collaboration with IFAD and national partners.

The workshop aims at presenting the results and recommendations achieved by the project and their applications in Côte d'Ivoire, Mali, Niger and the Gambia.

Specific objectives of the workshop:

  • Present the main results of the project achieved during both the regional and country-level phases.
  • Share the experiences and lessons learned during the implementation of the project.
  • Discuss concrete applications of the project findings and results in the countries involved.

Participants

Representatives from IFAD, national partners including national focal points from the four pilot countries (Côte d'Ivoire, Mali, Niger, and the Gambia), the regional Centre Agrhymet (Niger), the University of Leuven (Belgium) and FAO.

Interpretation in French and English will be available during the whole workshop.
