Final Project Workshop, 16-17 April 2019, FAO HQ, Rome, Italy
FAO, in collaboration with IFAD and national partners, will organize the final workshop of the project “Adapting small-scale irrigation to climate change in West and Central Africa - AICCA” in its Headquarter, Rome, Italy, from 16 to 17 April 2019.
The workshop will present the key findings of the project in Côte d'Ivoire, Mali, Niger and the Gambia.
The AICCA project has assessed the impact of climate change in small-scale agriculture and has identified adaptation strategies.
Specific objectives of the workshop:
- Present the main results of the project achieved during both the regional and country-level phases.
- Share the experiences and lessons learned during the implementation of the project.
- Discuss concrete applications of the project findings and results in the countries involved.
Participants
Representatives from IFAD, national partners including national focal points from the four pilot countries (Côte d'Ivoire, Mali, Niger and the Gambia), the regional Centre Agrhymet (Niger), the University of Leuven (Belgium) and FAO.
Interpretation in French and English will be available during the whole workshop.
