A new article on legal aspects of contract farming has been added to the site.

The contents of the Contract Farming Resource Centre have also been updated to include new examples of contracts inTanzania between farmers’ cooperatives and agribusiness companies covering tea and tobacco.

In addition, the site shows examples of farming contracts involving institutions, which facilitate contract farming operations. In fact, three agreements concluded in the frame of Sisal Smallholders and Outgrowers (SISO) Scheme in Tanzania between farmers’ cooperatives, a private company and Tanzania Sisal Board have been added to the site.

The Contract farming Resource Centre website continues to welcome contributions from users in providing a copy of one or more of the contract farming agreements in use by their country or organization.
