TUNA 2021, the 16th INFOFISH World Tuna Trade Conference & Exhibition, is scheduled to take place next year, from 19-21 May, 2021 in Bangkok, Thailand. INFOFISH, together with our partners, remain resolute in working towards successfully organising this event safely amidst the global challenges we face today.

In the meantime, and in recognition of the fact that there is continued strong interest from the industry for updates and information on the global tuna industry, INFOFISH will hold a curtain-raiser to TUNA 2021 through the organization of an international virtual prelude on the 14th of October 2020. With the theme Sustainability, Technological Innovation and Marketing: Drivers amidst COVID-19, the programme has been crafted to address key issues in the industry including production, markets/trade, market access, sustainability and innovation/artificial intelligence.

We are very pleased to announce that Ambassador Peter Thomson, UN Secretary-General’s Special Envoy for the Ocean, will deliver the Opening Address at the INFOFISH TUNA 2021 Virtual Prelude on 14 October 2020.
