Inflation is going down in all major European countries. Annual inflation in the euro area stood at 4.3 percent in September, compared with 5.2 percent in August. In the European Union, the rate was 4.9 percent, compared with 5.9 percent in August. The lowest annual rates were observed in the Netherlands (-0.3 percent), Denmark (0.6 percent) and Belgium (0.7 percent), while the highest were recorded in Hungary (12.2 percent) and Romania (9.2 percent). In the current European Fish Price Report, 46 percent of the prices were stable compared with September 2023, 22 percent went up and 27 percent went down.
