Soy Balls Soup

Ingredients

soya, beans: 1 cup
onions: 1/4 cup
pork: 1/2 cup
egg, chicken: 1
broth: 4 tablespoons
celery: 2 tablespoons
flour, wheat: 3 tablespoons
salt, table: 2 teaspoon
winter squash: 1/3 cup
sauce, patis: 1 teaspoon
oil, cooking/salad: 8 tablespoon

Cooking Time (minutes): advanced (over night)
Steps

1. Soak soybeans in water overnight. Drain off water for 5 mn. and fry until golden brown. Boil in water for 45 mn. Drain (use drained water for soup stock). Remove beans coats.
2. Grind in meat grinder and mash finely with pestle.
3. Mix soybeans, squash, egg, flour, salt, onion leaves, onion and pepper. Form into balls of 1/2 inch diameter. Set aside.
4. Dilute soup stock in 4 cups water. Add pork and cook until tender. Saute onion and add to soup stock. Add patis and boil. Add soybean balls slowly and cook for 10 mn.
5. Add celery and pepper. Cook for another 3 mn. Serve hot.
