Ingredients
milk: 3/4 29
ghee: 2 27
water: 7 29
sugar: 5 29
baking powder: 2 31
flour, wheat: 1 29
soda: 1 44
syrup:
oil, frying: 4 29
milk, powder: 3 29

Cooking Time (minutes): quick (30 minutes or less)
Steps
1. Mix all ingredients and butter; make a dough by adding fresh milk.
2. Form pingpong-size balls.
3. Heat oil ( but do not boil); drop balls, a few a time; fry on a low heat until light brown. Remove and cool.
4. Mix sugar and water to make syrup; boil till thick. The syrup should be lighter than maple syrup. Drop balls in syrup. May be served with ice cream.
