Steps
1. Soak the maize and cowpeas separately overnight.The maize may be pounded to re move the husk.
2. Boil the maize until halfcooked.
3. Add cowpeas and cook until tender (whole grains) and the liquid has evaporated.
4. Add salt, serve with chunks of fresh coconut and roasted groundnuts as a snack or refreshment.
