Central Asia

SHARP+ is currently implemented as part of the “Integrated natural resources management in drought-prone and saltaffected agricultural production systems in Central Asia and Turkey” financed by the GEF. SHARP+ is being used for assessing the climate resilience of farm systems located in Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan.

The tool was also used in 2018 to formulate a GEF-funded project aiming to introduce Sustainable Forest Management (SFM) in Uzbekistan
