This event focuses on European Union (EU) resources and on the current Italian national legislative proposal in favor of mountains. Representatives of the European Commission and Tuscany Region will focus on resources, whereas a dicussion among mayors on national law will be undertaken during the meeting. Two significant projects will be presented. On one side, the project "Europe on Tuscany Mountain", submitted by Anci Toscana and financed by the European Commission, will enhance information and assistance on EU funds and cohesion policies on mountain territories. On the other side, the Green Community project, submitted by Unione Comuni Lunigiana, will be illustrated, as a means to foster energy transition in remote areas.
