FAO is supporting the Agrarian South Network and the Agrarian South: Journal of Political Economy by promoting the Agrarian South Summer School, hosted by the African Institute for Agrarian Studies (AIAS). This initiative brought together the diverse experiences of social groups, NGOs, policy makers and academics in order to strengthen the understanding of current priority issues in agriculture. The summer course took place in Harare, Zimbabwe.
