Drawing on FAO's international experience and expertise, the FAO Moscow Office is taking an integrated approach to fully engage with the authorities of the Russian Federation to assist them, on one hand, to implement the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, on the other hand, to gather advanced agricultural knowledge and best practices of the Russian Federation to make them available to other FAO Member States, in particular, developing countries.
Upon Government requests, FAO supports federal authorities and parliamentarians in the development of national laws, provides them with technical and statistical information, and supports dialogue and data exchange.
