Training on linking farmers to markets in Africa, May 2017, Accra, Ghana
The International Fertilizer Development Center (IFDC) is organizing this training programme in Accra, Ghana from 6 to 12 May 2017. The programme will consist of three parts: i) input markets – how can farmers ensure timely and reliable access to inputs and know how to use them? ii) output markets – how can producers obtain access to output markets? and iii) cross-cutting issues such as association development and management, market information systems (MIS), access to financial services, ICT platform solutions, agricultural policies and gender integration. The training targets professionals from both the private and public sectors with specific interest in farmer-to-market linkages.
