Fires in nuclear forests: silent threats to the environment and human security

In the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone, forest and fire management need to be strengthened to reduce the risk of wildfire and corresponding radiation exposure. This article analyse these risks in the CE zone and recommends urgent steps to be taken to improve the fire management.
