The Status of Agricultural Biotechnology and Biosafety in Ukraine
This report from the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) says that Ukraine has made agricultural biotechnology a priority, although additional capacity building and funding are still needed. A national agricultural biotechnology program was implemented in 2001-05, and a national commission was established to address issues of biotechnology and biosafety policy
