Participants will include representatives from UN FAO member states, UNCCD-SPI, IAEA, presenters whose abstracts are accepted and finally scientists and practitioners working in related fields, representatives from NGOs, civil society, farmers’ associations and land users. Additionally, the symposium calls on the attention of the private sector and research institutes working on technology development for measuring and controlling soil erosion, and restoring eroded soils.

Representatives of non-State actors can express their interest to attend the symposium through the online registration system. Registration will be open until 8 May 2019.

NOTE: Please, note that there is no registration fee and participation in the symposium is free. However, participants should bear their own travel and accommodation expenses. Partners and organizers are unable to fund participants.
